How to: Change appearance order for text or shapes on screen during slide show.
Solution:
Use the 'Animation Settings' dialog box.
NOTE: The normal build order is the same as the stacking order of the objects on the slide in 'Slide' view. When either the build order or the stacking order is changed, so is the other.
1) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Slides'.
2) Select the text or graphic object that is to appear first on the slide.
3) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Animation Settings...'. (The Animation Settings dialog box appears.)
4) Select 'Build' from the 'Build Options' box.
Select 'Build'
5) Select 'First' from the 'Build this object' drop-down list box.
Select 'First'
6) Click 'OK'.
7) Repeat steps 2) through 4) and 6) for each successive object to build.
NOTE: Each object is automatically set to build right after the previous one; therefore, step 5) can be skipped after the first object.
